ABOUT THE BOOK
I'm a chef who can handle the heat. He's a firefighter that can douse a flame. But when sparks reignite between us and old fires begin to burn, dialing 9-1-1 is the last thing on my mind.
After my divorce, I got the better end of the deal with three sassy daughters, my food truck, and what was left in the bank account.
Two hundred dollars doesn't go far, but it got me three tanks of gas and a fresh start. The problem is, I needed four.
Being stranded on the side of the road isn't the end of the world—unless it's during a blizzard and we're rescued by the one person I never wanted to see again.
Finn Hollister—a.k.a.—My first love. Heartbreaker. Handsome hooligan.
Based on the three miniature versions of my ex-boyfriend glaring at me, I could also add "Dad" to that list.
Stuck in a cabin with Finn and six kids ready to play matchmaker was not how I planned to spend the holidays. And when it comes time to make our Christmas wish lists, Finn asks for one thing.
I just don't know if I can afford to give it to him.

REVIEW
This book reminded me a bit of those written by Mandi Blake, very family oriented and fast moving. I enjoyed all the kids and how they each had their own part to play moving the story along. It is sold as a Christian novel, and while it had a touch of faith, it wasn’t central to the story—and the fact that the entire story was based on a strange misconception (that wouldn’t take place if those characters were operating on Christian morals) the whole marriage/divorce part struck me as odd. And I really don’t enjoy a lover’s triangle so there’s also that. The ending was also a bit odd, but that may have played more into the series as a whole (it’s a book that takes place in a multi-author series about the same small town). It was okay. I may try one of her other books.
