So it’s wretched luck that when I finally visit Sunset Harbor, the small-town island where I grew up, I run into the still heart-stopping, book-boyfriend-worthy man himself. And shockingly, Tristan seems intent on reminding me what the island has to offer. Because that’s what friends do.
Logic demands I resist his charm and guard my secret at all costs, which is why it’s vastly unfortunate that Tristan Palmer was and always will be … my greatest weakness.
REVIEW
This book was different from the first two in that it was only written from one point of view. I usually don’t mind, but I was really looking forward to hearing from each and every character they’ve been talking about in these stories. So to only hear one side was actually pretty disappointing. I feel it took away from the romance. I wanted to hear about how Tristan fell for Capri and why he did the things he did in the story. It was still a cute read, and her being an author and how that all tied into the island and her backstory with Tristan was well done. I especially like how it ended, and how Capri made up for the bad decisions she did make with her writing.
