ABOUT THE BOOK
All he wants for Christmas is her… even if she’s faking it.

Olivia Gray would do anything for Luke, except let him out of the friend zone. For eleven years, Olivia has worked hard to set boundaries within their friendship to ensure that history doesn’t repeat itself. However, her barriers are tested when she joins Luke for their family Christmas celebration and ends up becoming his FAKE girlfriend.

The last thing Luke Beckett wants to do for the holidays is to be around his estranged father, even if it might be their last one together. But when the pressure of his overbearing relatives becomes too much for him, Olivia announces herself as his ‘girlfriend’ in order to take the spotlight off of him. However, Luke sees it as an opportunity to prove they belong together, despite their complicated past.

As the Christmas magic fades, pretend and reality comes face to face, leaving Olivia and Luke wondering what happens when they return to real life. Will Luke escape the friend zone or will this new shift come between them?

REVIEW
I just loved Olivia from book one and was excited to read her story. Her and Luke are super cute and there were many moments from book one that set up this story even before it started. This story had a lot of physical elements to it and is based around a one-bed scenario, which is not my favorite trope at all! Because of it there was a lot of physical connection that I believe should be saved for marriage. In that regard, I didn’t like those on-page moments, and there were plenty. But I did like the way their relationship finally crossed the line to more than friends. They still had baggage to unpack from years ago, and it was rough and real and I thought handled very well. There was also a heavy forgiveness element to this story that was wonderfully brought through. It pointed to Christ in every way and was my favorite part of this story. I do look forward to reading more by this author as she continued to write more books in this series.
