ABOUT THE BOOK
Keep your enemies closer...

I may or may not have accidentally started a war with the guy who owns the place next door...who also happens to be my boss’s recently returned golden child.

Battling against Luke Ward and his arsenal of charms makes me start to fear for my lawn, my livelihood, and my heart.

The annual retreat I’ve planned for the investment firm we both work for (okay, he’s technically one of the owners) is the biggest event of my career, and I vow to not let Luke and his shenanigans get in the way of its success.

But when he somehow weasels his way onto the trial run of the trip, the pranks start to feel more like plays we’re both calculating in an effort to hide our true feelings from each other.

So here’s my question: how does one not fall in love with her sworn enemy? Especially if said enemy might actually have a heart of gold hidden under his designer suits and well-timed insults (gotta give credit where credit is due). Asking for a friend.

REVIEW
So. So fun!!! Both Luke and Lainey were adorable. This story had a bit of falling fast, but everything worked so well I totally believed it. I love how feisty and driven they both were to one up the other. Their attacks on one another were cute and how their relationship grew was touching. Another fun, fantastic read!
